Okay, I really haven't got that much to share yet -- but so many people wanted pictures that I thought I'd share a few results from today's flight. Toronto to Los Angeles on Air Canada's Boeing 787 -- and that was a first for me. It's an awesome plane: spacious, comfortable, smooth-flying, huge overhead bins, the tinted windows that you can adjust at the touch of a button all the way to full blackout (no pull-down shades needed). But of course, you are really here for the pictures. So, here we go:
Winter prairies in South Dakota:
Mountain scenes in the Colorado Rockies:
Las Vegas and the mountains of Red Rock Canyon nature preserve. You can see the huge hotels of the Las Vegas Strip, and the airport, at the right edge of the second picture.
Aerial winter photos across the USA on the first leg of my trip to the southern sun (I hope).
